That may be the desired response, but often it's not what actually
happens. What often happens is one or more of the following:-

* Reinstallation
* Switch to a different distro
* Blogging about the experience
* Posting to forums/mailing lists about how "rubbish" the system is
and how it "trashed" the laptop/desktop

etc..
