[ubuntu-uk] Openshot video editing software Karmic Koala

Hello,

I have today received this message from one of my LUG members message 
follows:-

Hi Derek
Please warn anyone using karmic to stay well away from a video editing 
software called "openshot" .
The problem as far as i can tell is that they have just given it a major 
revamp and upon install it changes amongst other things the karmic 
version of ffmpeg  (others as well but i dont have the list).
This will leave most your multimedia playback dead in the water 
especially VLC and totem player  and once installed is a pig of a job to 
put right.( i had to re install Ubuntu).
Can you warn all soslug members so they dont get caught by this.
