Just found this while looking for something related

its an independant magazine for Ubuntu users.

on a related note I was in smiths earlier, and found a magazine called
ubuntu user,  its about £7+  but looked quite interesting,  I think some
of these magazine prices are somewhat excessive though,  the full circle
magazine is a free download, issue 24 has part 8 of a teach your self C
course.
