Ok. Try runnning 'sudo dpkg-reonfigure linux-image-generic' and then
'sudo linux-image-2.6.27-14-generic', as it looks as though that not
being configured seems to be the problem. Paste the errors you'll no
doubt get to PasteBin (like you previously did.)
