[ubuntu-uk] unmap f11 & f12 keys from mouseclicks

Hi -- I'm on a Macbook running Ubuntu, and by default the install maps the
left & right clicks to the f11 & f12 keys.
I want to unmap this -- could someone advise me on how this is done?
