I use FSCKVPS, who offer ~£6/month VPS's. I've had great service from
them, although about a month ago a hacker gained access via a security
exploit in their control panel (the story even made it to slashdot, as
the dev of the control panel hanged himself). My VPS was restored from
backups within a couple of hours, and they dealt with the whole thing
excellently.
