I'd have a look in /etc and see if there is a configuration file
relating to xsane etc. Or possibly even try...
fgrep 10.0.0.4 /etc/* | less
That'll list every file that contains the string 10.0.0.4 and pipe the
output to less (so you can scroll up and down if there are any error
messages or multiple files that contain the string).
