That depends how you install it.

If you either use the repository Innotek/Sun/Oracke/Whoever provide
and install via apt/aptitude/synaptic then it will resolve that
dependency for you. Dependency resolution is also done if you double
click the deb file once downloaded from the site as that will open
with gdebi.

The only way it would not work is if you downloaded the deb and tried
to install using dpkg.
