Mine was a clean install, however i did upgrade to kubuntu from ubuntu
so not sure if that is causing issues, even though I am using ubuntu as
I didn't really like the new kde interface, its still installed, i need
to remove it properly with the purge option. but i like kstars and kile
so am reluctant to remove the whole of kde.
