It's better if you use 'gksu' or 'gksudo' instead of 'sudo' for a
graphical program, especially if you're entering the command line in
the Alt-F2 Run window.

sudo might get its knickers in a twist if it tries to prompt for a password...

gksu uses a graphical window to prompt for the password, if necessary.
