Hello, Chris.
Maybe because you don't want to be caught in a Micro$oft single vendor
trap, and you believe that software doesn't have to be proprietary?
I share your frustration, though, because I still have to use the NDIS
driver to get a normal WiFI connection speed on my Asus A6000 notebook!
