Upgraded my wife's Dell Ubuntu laptop from 7.10 to 8.04 last night 
without a hitch -- reminded me how impressive the Ubuntu distribution 
upgrade is.

[Indeed, I've also - out of interest - just been installing Fedora 10 on 
an old machine, which has reminded me how impressive Ubuntu in general 
is! ;-)   ]
