[ubuntu-uk] downloading slow torrents & energy consumption

I use a program called gshutdown, available in the repos. Basically, it's
just a GUI for the command line shutdown, but I like to watch a film when I
go to bed, but often fall asleep. What I do is load up gshutdown and my
film, and tell gshutdown to turn off my PC after a delay (the length of the
film). What you could do is tell gshutdown to turn your PC off at 2am, or to
turn it off after a delay of 3 hours, or whatever. It's a very handy tool,
in my opinion.
