[ubuntu-uk] scanner

Hi Norman

I've got a HP Deskjet F380 printer/scanner combo and if memory serves, I've
had it since round about Dapper Drake time. From that time until now,
Ubuntu's never had a problem with either printing or scanning. So much so,
that my other half prefers to print from my laptop as hers (running XP with
official HP drivers) tends to freeze after just a couple of pages. Almost as
if it's made for Ubuntu. Couldn't be happier although, in fairness, I've yet
to put it through a heavy workout so don't know what it would be like in,
for instance, a busy office environment. From my point of view, though,
couldn't be happier.
