I have a feeling that Stephen missed the smiley - he was copying the
normal English attempt at communicating in a foreign language,
speaking V-E-R-Y S-L-O-W-L-Y at high volume in English.

Please correct me if I'm wrong, Stephen. Maybe without the smiley it
was too obscure for some...
