Orange are selling these little USB modems [1] with their unlimited
broadband offer.

I've been following the other threads about similar modems, but I
can't get past the fact that this device is being seen as a mass
storage device. dmesg gives:

[ 2030.365684] usb 1-1: new full speed USB device using uhci_hcd and address 2
[ 2030.526738] usb 1-1: configuration #1 chosen from 1 choice

[ 2032.135450] usbcore: registered new interface driver usb-storage

[ 2038.020038] sr1: scsi-1 drive
[ 2038.020171] sr 2:0:0:0: Attached scsi CD-ROM sr1
[ 2038.020253] sr 2:0:0:0: Attached scsi generic sg2 type 5
[ 1112.836821] ISO 9660 Extensions: Microsoft Joliet Level 1
[ 1112.846806] ISOFS: changing to secondary root

So it's not being seen as a modem as such.

Has anyone had any success with one of these?

Thanks

Ciemon
