I'm currently working on something like this, but not specifically for
screencasts, but for any kind of video. It could of course be used for
screencasts.

It would be nice if we could extend recordmydesktop (for example) to
have an upload feature. Any python devs fancy having a go at an http
upload feature enhancement to RMD?
