[ubuntu-uk] what does this message in kino mean?

"The IEEE 1394 subsystem is not responding

The raw1394 module must be loaded, and you must have read and write access
to /dev/raw1394"

Ok so what does this mean and how can i fix it? should i fix it?

I have no digital cameras/camera of any sort attached!
