[ubuntu-uk] Logitech Quickcam Chat in 8.10

I've got a Logitech Quickcam Chat, which works fine in XP, but in Ubuntu
8.10 I just get a black square whichever program I try. 


lsusb shows:

Can't remember the command I used to get this (blush)

I've searched the forums, and other web sites, and all I can get is that
it should work ...
