Your post got me to wondering how well dbPowerAmp converter runs under 
WINE, so I had a go.  WINE grumbles a bit during the install, but the 
app seems to run OK anyway.  Had to use WINE to install the extra codecs 
from www.dbpoweramp.com/codec-central.htm (for Ogg, Flac, mp4, m4a). 
Haven't tried them all, but the one's I have tried work fine - including 
converting m4a to Ogg.  Good ole WINE!
