[ubuntu-uk] Setting up a Dell Latitude D420

Has this been resolved because was just reading up and there is a fair
chance that the d420 is using the same wifi as the 1420n which is dells
Ubuntu machine, or am I wrong?

Um, I did a fresh install of 7.10 but the wifi wont work etc. That is why I
was asking for help really.

Want to move away from that other operating system!!
