KMail.

Aside from being part of KDE, its the best email client I've ever found. It 
has extensive functionality for threads, mailing lists, separate "reply to 
author", "reply to all" and "replay to list" buttons, one-click "mark all as 
read", various types of flagging, sieve support, built-in gpg encryption / 
signing, great highlighting / colour coding, ability to store contacts in an 
IMAP folder etc etc I could go on all day... and loads of configurable 
keyboard shortcuts to make it feel like a souped up terminal program.

It can't be beat :-)
