Yes, Madwifi's been in Ubuntu since at least 5.10, maybe earlier.
Because of the binary hal it's not been integrated into the kernel, so
Ubuntu has had it included in the restricted modules package. Hopefully
the new ar5k driver will change this and we can get full open source
support, though I don't expect it to be in Linus's kernel for a while
yet.

On a related note, if you or anyone with a working Ralink card could add
to the Ad hoc wiki page, I would greatly appreciate it.
