Ubuntu is pretty much 100% financed by Canonical Ltd [0]. Which is a
private company owned by multi-millionaire Mark Shuttleworth (sabdfl).
There's also the dormant $10 million Ubuntu Foundation [1] which is an
emergency fund should Bad Things happen to Canonical, it's ran by the
members of the Community Council [2].
