[ubuntu-uk] Screen resolution issues with Ver 7.04

I did find one solution that worked on another machine for me

sudo dpkg-reconfigure xserver-xorg -phigh
then CTRL+ALT+BKSPACE to reload X

which allowed me to select the driver and resolution, however I was only
able to get 1024 x 768 whilst the same machine under Windows went much
higher.
