[ubuntu-uk] Novice user problem - DVD playback

Hi,

I have a thread on ubuntuforums.org's forum for Absolute Beginner Talk
asking for help with DVD playback.

 From lurking on this mailing list for the past few weeks I knew that
some subscribers here are happy to help new linux users and also don't
use the forums, so I hope it's not bad form to also post here.
