This is a pretty cool event. A lot of people poured scorn upon the
OLPC project and it's great to see them going into production :-D

You can emulate 'sugar' (that's the OLPC operating system) using Qemu,
or download a live CD. I checked it out a couple of months ago and the
interface is pretty weird.
