[ubuntu-uk] Spoke too soon!

Hi All,

        I installed the sound as Tom's suggestion and all worked perfectly. Today no sound again. Any ideas as to what is wrong ?

Also for the last few day upon switch on I have had to restore the bios settings. I replaced the battery but this does not seem to have cured the problem. it has worked before, I wonder if that something to do with the loss of sound ? Although the 2 don't seem connected,
