[ubuntu-uk] Ekiga test conversation needed (now) please, somebody?

Hi all
I have just connected up a quickcam and am trying to test it out. Does 
anyone happen to be sitting near to something that will connect or 
allow me to connect to, an ekiga account or compatible please?

I have a relative who is on skype, but I gather that skype is 
proprietary, so as things stand I cannot use the relative to connect 
as a  test.
