[ubuntu-uk] Fiesty wont work!!!!

unfortunately this seems a bit complicated and beyond my level of expertise! 
 
I will try and take some pics and email them for you to see! 
 
Could it something to do with the nvidia drivers?i tried clicking on enable desktop effects but screen just blankd out!
