well yes and no.

We do have a forum , but we really want to have it integrated into the 
mail list.  There is however nothing to stop people using the forums, 
nothing at all in fact, but we would hate to miss out on announcements, 
invites, discussions and ideas on the forum or maill list because of the 
duality of the communication medium.

If it were me, id just make it all Facebook based* !
