"Interesting".

Is this an edgy install that you updated and are now trying to upgrade to
feisty?

I.e. you have all the latest updates for edgy before you started upgrading
to feisty?

Can you just make sure that /etc/apt/sources.list still referrs to edgy, and
if it does, issue this:-

sudo apt-get update
sudo apt-get dist-upgrade

Then close and reopen update manager and try again?

If your sources.list already says feisty then try this:-

sudo apt-get update
sudo apt-get -d dist-upgrade # this will NOT actually upgrade, just
download the necessary packages for the upgrade. This should see if there
really is room.

Cheers,
Al.
