F-spot is installed by default. It's under Applications --> graphics.

I use it for managing my digital photos, and love it. A friend of mine (a
mac user) is looking for an Ubuntu-based photo management tool, and after
showing him he is planning on switching to f-spot.

In the past (before f-spot came out) I had used digikam under GNOME, but
now I don't use any KDE apps under GNOME, so digikam is gone. F-spot is nice
and easy to use in my opinion.

Cheers,
Al.
