Morning,
Just checked the Sun's Java website and there is an interview with Shannon
Lynch from Sun.
http://java.sun.com/developer/technicalArticles/Interviews/lynch_qa.html
It tells how Sun chose GPLv2 for open sourcing their code.
Great news! Its in the wild now boys. I was hoping to learn a programming
language that was free/open, and am trying to learn python. Java was
encumbered so I'd of rather not learnt it, now my ethics are clear :D.
