Hi, me again guys. Sorry for bombarding the list like this...

I want to mount my Windows partition so that I can copy all my photos
and music across. I found the instructions at http://tinyurl.com/yhhcsp
and have followed 'Method 1' - but nothing seems to be happening.

Here are the steps I've taken.

dave at dave-desktop:~$ sudo fdisk -l
Password:

Disk /dev/hda: 200.0 GB, 200049647616 bytes
255 heads, 63 sectors/track, 24321 cylinders
Units = cylinders of 16065 * 512 = 8225280 bytes

Device Boot Start End Blocks Id System
/dev/hda1 1 493 3959991 12 Compaq
diagnostics
/dev/hda2 * 494 14147 109675755 7 HPFS/NTFS
/dev/hda3 14148 23967 78879150 83 Linux
/dev/hda4 23968 24321 2843505 5 Extended
/dev/hda5 23968 24321 2843473+ 82 Linux swap /
Solaris

dave at dave-desktop:~$ gksudo gedit /etc/pmount.allow

# /etc/pmount.allow
# pmount will allow users to additionally mount all devices that are
# listed here.
/dev/hda1
/dev/hda2

But when I go into 'Computer' the Windows partition just isn't there,
even after rebooting, so I can't mount them.

Any ideas?
