Hmm.  I've dist-upgraded from breezy to dapper and from dapper to edgy
using it.  The second one was a bit rough: it worked much better on
the second computer (over ssh) than on the first (in xterm in an XFCE4
session).

I prefer to rely on console rather than GUI tools for upgrading....
