right now I'm with fedora, and here it's ok. So, this string doesn't seem to be wrong because of gnome upstream. It's something someone did in launchpad (I have to find out who ¬_¬). Never ever translate anything before the | I don't think there exist a search function for translations in Launchpad (which would be helpful) so you will have to manually find it.
