There are problems on the Telegram side, just chipping in her from personal
experience, which I would love to see addressed though. The guidance from
Telegram says to request a project but then it says you must contact an admin
called Michael Ra who seems to do some sort of translator vetting. The vetting I
have no issue with, I welcome it. But the problem is Michael Ra is hard to get a
hold of. I requested Scottish Gaelic on Transifex for various platforms weeks
ago and then contacted Michael Ra via the only option given (Telegram itself)
but have not had a response and not had Gaelic admitted.
The communication issues aside, there is also a mismatch between locales on
Launchapd and Transifex. Launchpad offers way more locales that Transifex and
Transifex are often slow in adding new locales (I've been waiting for Chinyanja
for months now). So that needs addressing somehow too.
