Hello,
For Oneiric, we are working on a new programme called Ubuntu Friendly,
that aims to validate the hardware of a system, allowing the community
to test their systems and report results back. You can learn more about
the programme in its wiki page:
https://wiki.ubuntu.com/UbuntuFriendly
As part of that effort, we are creating a lot of new tests that we are
moving to the trunk of checkbox. We have now a lot of untranslated
strings, and we would love as many people as possible to help us
translating our tests:
https://translations.launchpad.net/checkbox/trunk/
We have also moved our translation security schema and have put Ubuntu
Translators as the translations coordinator of Checkbox, to match the
current Ubuntu schema.
I have also written a small blog post asking for help:

What other suggestion you guys have to help us getting people to
translate our project?
Thanks a lot in advance!
Ara.
