Ubuntu installation slideshow is empty

This is clearly a bug in ubiquity.

Could you please file a bug against the ubiquity package?:

  https://bugs.edge.launchpad.net/ubuntu/karmic/+source/ubiquity

The best way in this case might be to type in the following commands in
the Karmic system you're experiencing the problem in:

  ubuntu-bug ubiquity
