Please, get in touch with the Maltese Team for KDE:
to subscribe send mail to majordomo at linux.org.mt with "subscribe l10n"
in the message body

The Maltese LUG is not identical with the Maltese translators AFAIK.
You should also check this website: http://l10n.kde.org/

For Gnome there seems not to be a Maltese team yet, but please check
this website here: http://l10n.gnome.org/

Posting to this list here, where most of the upstream translators are
not even subscribed to, will not bring much feedback IMHO.
