@Soumaya: To not discuss different things in one thread I started this new
thread, please reply to this instead of the other one to keep the same
topic.
A kernel panic is not a usual thing to have.. Afaik, unless you made some
changes on the kernel itself that can be a sign of a hardware failure too..
We can not help without having some more information, can you please
execute the commands below:
lsb_release -a > lsb_release.log && uname -a > uname.txt && lsmod >
lsmod.txt && lspci > lspci.txt && dmesg -T > dmesg.txt && tail -100
/var/log/kern.log > kern.log && tail -100 /var/log/syslog > syslog.txt
To not have errors you need just to COPY/PASTE that command into a
terminal, the result will be 7 files (dmesg.txt kern.log lsb_release.log
lsmod.txt lspci.txt syslog.txt uname.txt).
Can you please share those files via this ML, just hit reply and attach
them.
