As a LoCo Contact, I submitted the LoCo participation form (Myself as a coordinator). As usual, we will ask for a stall for our community and for a room for some workshops.. In meanwhile, it'll be great if you can share with us what do you expect from Ubuntu-tn during this SFD? Do you have any subjects for workshops, or to discuss next to our stall? Will you join us to the stall/workshops or you'll contribute to them? Please share whatever you have in mind, it'll be great to hear from you, all of you.. If you want to host a workshop as a Ubuntu-tn Member then let's discuss that and coordinate that! Before SFD we should/can have an IRC meeting to set a clear plan based on your suggestions (we'll vote if we'll need to). I'm almost 24/7 on IRC, so don't hesitate to join me and ask anything you feel like you can't ask in here.. Other awesome people nizarus, Naeil and praisethemoon will probably be there as well to discuss and answer some of your questions. To keep our LoCo as a verified one we should re apply for a Re-Verification.. The application needed to be present as a Wiki Page[0] that presents what the LoCo achieved during the last 2 years (since last Re-Verification), we need to help each others finish that wiki. Below is the list of tasks that need to be done: 1. Review & finish the Monthly[1] reports and bestOf[2] wiki from the application wiki, the monthly reports should be updated based on ML archive[3] 2. Help tuning the Roadmap section by suggestion some actions in this ML thread 3. Help writing down the Experience section based on the Monthly reports, I already commented the content of this section so you can have an example from when we should start and how things should be written). 4. Help writing down the achievement section, based on the other sections. To not have edit conflicts, if you'll write something in the wiki and you think that it can be something that we should discuss here, please share it here before adding it to the Wiki so we can discuss it. Once those tasks are done, I'll ask the LoCo Council for a meeting to discuss our application. Please feel free to ask any related question in this thread. Your new council members are as follows: 1. Nathan Haines (incumbent) (@nhaines) 2. Carla Sella (@carla-sella) 3. Kyle Fazzari (@kyrofa) 4. Ken VanDine (@kenvandine) 5. Gustavo Silva (@gsilvapt) A big congratulations to them! If you want to give them your kudos, I urge you to do so on [this post][4] on our Discourse forum at community.ubuntu.com. The local community ([LoCo][2]) project is an international effort which strives to evangelize and support the Ubuntu project around the world. The LoCo Council acts on the delegation of the [Community Council][3] to support this worldwide movement. Most notably they have been involved in reviewing verification requests. The Community Council will be working closely with the LoCo Council in the upcoming months to give new value to both the LoCo project and the LoCo Council itself, so exciting times are ahead!
