Public bug reported:

I am running Ubuntu 12.04 LTS Beta 2 with Gnome 3 Desktop Environment
when I changed my IM status to available I received notifications of an
error connecting to Facebook Chat.

I tried opened the Empathy settings and realized that Empathy was
uninstalled, not by me!

After re-installing Empathy I checked my account settings and everything
was fine but it will not connect showing "Authentication Failed" error
message.

I also added my MSN account and Google Talk. These are failing
authentication also.

The only account that appears to be working is the local "People Nearby"
