I have some bug. As well, gnome-shell crash then I open chat window from contact list. This does not happen every time but often enough.
After i have this message:

(gnome-shell:5571): Clutter-WARNING **: clutter_actor_raise Actor 'ClutterGroup' is not in the same container as actor 'ClutterGroup'
Segmentation fault

Ubuntu 11.10 x86_64
gnome-shell 3.4
nvidia-driver 295.33

Also noticed this on ubuntu 12.04 beta2 i386
