[Bug 885285] [NEW] empathy segfaults when trying to open 2nd conversation window from notification area

Public bug reported:

Using Ubuntu 11.10 (with gnome-shell).  Upon opening a conversation (by
clicking the icon in the notification area), the Empathy window opens
successfully.  Subsequent attempts fail and the following error is left
in /var/log/syslog:

Nov  2 11:08:05 lnx-d0828 kernel: [10740.150060] mission-control[3318]:
segfault at 0 ip b750a99a sp bfe1cfa8 error 4 in
libglib-2.0.so.0.3000.0[b74a6000+f7000]

Opening the "Contact List" allows these conversation windows to open.
