[Bug 471878] Re: empathy cannot connect to msn accounts in karmic

I am also getting this problem. Empathy has been working fine for months
now (since I first installed Ubuntu 10.04 x64 on this laptop) and now
all of a sudden it continuously tries to connect to msn and never
returns any error, displays any contacts or connects.

The last lines in my log file for butterfly are

papyon/papyon.gnet.http-ERROR: 12/07/11 08:31:48.483338: Received error code 500 (Internal Server Error) from contacts.msn.com:80
papyon/papyon.service-WARNING: 12/07/11 08:31:48.483716: Transport Error :500
papyon/papyon.gnet.http-ERROR: 12/07/11 08:31:48.533339: Received error code 500 (Internal Server Error) from contacts.msn.com:80
papyon/papyon.service-WARNING: 12/07/11 08:31:48.533668: Transport Error :500

I am running
Ubuntu 10.04 x64 (linux kernel: 2.6.32-33-generic)
Empathy 2.30.3
