I'm currently using 2.32.1 on maverick too.

uname -a returns:

further information:

on double click there's absolutely nothing that happens, but when I
press Return on the contact the Contact List window loses focus.It was
barely noticeable because of the GTK theme I previously used, since then
I had changed the default radiance theme, i've noticed this only now.
