For updates on this bugs status please watch these two bugs:
http://bugs.freedesktop.org/show_bug.cgi?id=16891 and
https://bugs.freedesktop.org//show_bug.cgi?id=29904. 29904 will be the
most active initially well the end-to-end security spec is ironed out
enough to support OTR and hopefully future protocols. Once activity
begins on 16891, we should be on the way to full OTR support for
Telepathy/Empathy.
