Public bug reported:

empathy shows a warning for servers with a self-signed certificate.
There's a checkbox remember the user's decission which doesn't seem to
have any effect. After every reconnect it shows up again.

This problem occurs on all ubuntu system I know (also on maverick
meerkat and lucid lynx).
